Step 2: Choose Wordpress template

Navigate to http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/ and click on the »Most Popular« link on the right.

Find the theme that you like best and click on its thumbnail or title.

I decided to go with the »oriental« theme.

Now click on the red »Download« button on the right.

Save it on the same place as the Wordpress.

Browse to the »c:\wp« folder and save.

Extract it (right click -> Extract All...). Now copy extracted folder inside »wordpress\wp-content\themes\« folder.

You can now see three theme folders: classic, default and the one you have just copied (in my case it’s oriental).

Now you need free software to put website on the web server. The easiest way to do this is to use »FreeCommander«.

Navigate to site http://www.freecommander.com/ and click on the »Downloads« link in the top menu.

Under the »File Name« column you will see link »fc_setup_.zip«. Click on it to start the download.

Save it on your computer.

Extract it and run the »fc_setup.exe« file.

After the installation is over run the FreeCommander and in the left pane navigate to the folder where you have wordpress files.

Right click on the »wp-config-sample.php« file and chose »rename«.

In the »New name« field write »wp-config« and then click »OK« button. Just like in the screenshot.
